Koby Huberman is a high-tech veteran executive and a civil society entrepreneur.

 

He is the CEO of Strategic Landscapes Ltd., a consulting firm helping leading companies develop and implement transformational growth strategies. He is an experienced high-tech executive with 35 years in global technology corporations, as CEO, strategic visionary and business development executive.

 

In parallel to his business activities, he is committed for many years to Civil Society voluntary work in the fields of education, social services, equality and shared society in Israel – based on a strategic vision that envisions Israel as a regional power and a role model society. 

 

Since 2006 he focuses on promoting a regional initiative for peace and security in the Middle East. Together with Yuval Rabin, he co-authored the Israeli Peace Initiative (IPI), as a response to the Arab Peace Initiative (API) – and co-founded the IRI Group. The IRI Group focuses on building Track2 – quiet regional dialogue platforms between regional interlocutors, in order to promote regional diplomatic innovation, regional security cooperation, regional business cooperation and people to people initiatives (in the spirit of the API and IPI). 

 

He has a BA in Economics and Management, and MA in Philosophy. He is married to Tal, with 4 children, and living in Givat-Ada, Israel.

Maj. Gen. Nimrod Shafer recently (Nov. 2020) completed a very successful term as CEO and President of Israel Aerospace Industries. During his tenure, he led the company through the two most successful years in its history. After a decade of no growth and meagre profitability, the company shows significant growth and profit figures.

In his last position in the IDF, after 36 years of service, he served as head of the Agency, the Planning Division at the General Staff. In this position, he was responsible for military/political strategic planning, international military cooperation, and building the strength of the IDF (and, in this context, the multi-year and annual plans).

General Shafer has a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University in Boston and a bachelor's in geophysics and planetary sciences from Tel Aviv University.

Nimrod enlisted in the Air Force in the fall of 1979 and completed the pilot's course in 1981 as a fighter pilot. Since then, he has held a long series of positions in the Air Force, including command of two fighter squadrons, command of the Air Force base in Ramon, head of the Air Wing and head of the Air Force Headquarters.

Nimrod lives in Netaf, is married to Haya and has four children.
